Kevin Kavanaugh of South Coast Gardens will tell us about designing beautiful and biodiverse gardens. Using native plants can play an important role in helping us sustain resident pollinator populations that are vital to our environmental health. We’ll learn about selecting plants to both beautify and benefit nature.
Meetings
Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Norfolk Room. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m.
Field Events
Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
