Don Scallen, from the Halton North Peel Naturalists’ Club, will talk about a host of animals that are active under water or after dark and are seldom seen. These include fish, caterpillars and other animals that slip under the radar. Don is a writer, naturalist, and former President of the HNPNC. This speaker event will follow the Annual Meeting.
Location: Norfolk Room, Simcoe Recreation Centre, 182 South Drive, Simcoe.
Meetings
Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Norfolk Room. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m.
Field Events
Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
