During this guided walk, learn about the lives of Ontario’s owls, their remarkable adaptations, and the ecological roles they play. We’ll then listen and look for owls. This walk is a wonderful opportunity to learn what to listen and look for, which are skills you can employ to search for owls in your own neighbourhood!

Field Outings:
– Hikes are free to the public. Limit is 20 participants.
– Pre-registration is required by emailing info@norfolkfieldnaturalists.org
– Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and hiking conditions.
– Carry water, bug spray and sunscreen.
– Don’t forget your cellphone, camera, binocs and/or field guide.
– No pets please
Meetings
Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Norfolk Room. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m.
Field Events
Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
